North America has the best Black Bear hunting in the world with the greatest variety of hide colors. Northern New Mexico has a large and growing bear population due to the abundance of habitat. With the growing number of bears and abundant habitat the State has increased the length of the season to help control the population. The season runs from mid August through November 1st.
We maintain a 100% success rate on our 5-day hunts. Many of the bears harvested annually will make the Boone & Crockett or Pope &Young record books.
If you're after an adrenaline rush, heart pounding experience this hunt is a must. You will traverse scenic and sometimes difficult terrain following the hounds in pursuit of that big bruin. You should come prepared for all types of weather conditions, since Fall in New Mexico can be sunny one minute and snowing the next.
This hunt includes; license, guides, hounds and transportation during the hunt. Meals and lodging are arranged at a local hotel casino at the hunters expense.
This hunt can be combine with Antelope, Elk, Oryx or Buffalo.
